Where to Live in Nassau County, FL

Hover Girl Properties co-founders Joy Doyle and Lara Yehl discuss some of the most popular neighborhoods in Nassau County to buy a home. One of the cool things about Nassau County is that all of the restaurants and shopping that were never in this area and only in Duval County have now migrated up there. So, you can live in Nassau County with all the things that are already in Duval County. Plus, Nassau County is more affordable than surrounding areas because it’s growing.

One of the communities we think should be featured is called Wildlife, and it is a master plan community. So what does that mean? That means it has amenities and a pool. They’ve built a school in the back of it and there’s walking trails, so you can walk to school which we think is really a cool concept for a lot of people. It also starts from condominiums up to very expensive homes. Plus, it’s right off I-95 so it’s an easy commute to Kings Bay, NAS, and Mayport.

Plummer’s Creek

Although Plumbers Creek is not a master plan community, you don’t have a Community Development District (CDD) fee and you still have a community pool in a growing community that’s still building. So, Plummer’s Creek is an area that people are considering, especially because the schools in Nassau County are A+.

There are lots of great options in Nassau County. Whether you’re going to be stationed at Kings Bay, NAS, or Mayport, people are choosing to live up there. Give us a shout and get in touch with us at Hover Girl Properties if we can be of any help to you in your home buying search.
