Proximity to Military Bases
Ponte Vedra and Nocatee are just south of Jacksonville city limits, but that doesn’t mean they are far from the military bases. Both communities have relatively easy access to major roadways, making most of the bases about 45 minutes to an hour away. However, the drive may be a little longer if you are in the middle of Ponte Vedra because the access points are on the north and south ends of the community.
Access To The Rest of The City
Nocatee Parkway - the main road that runs through the community - can quickly take you to US Hwy 1, which connects with several major roadways, including I-95 and I-295. Or, heading east on Nocatee Parkway will bring you to scenic SR A1A for access to Ponte Vedra and the beaches of Jacksonville. From Ponte Vedra, there are two ways to head west to reach the major roadways: Nocatee Parkway on the south end or FL-202 (aka JTB) on the north end.
